Food Handling Test Preparation- ServSafe Food Safety Certification & Exam

   

Class Description
California law requires that all food-handling facilities have at least one certified food safety person on site. Passing the exam administered at the end of this training meets the California requirements for certification and is recognized by the American Culinary Federation for continuing education units. New students taking the exam as well as students who need re-certifying are welcome. Required course book, ServSafe Essentials, 5thedition with exam form, can be purchased at the CSM bookstore. Please bring book, picture I.D. and a #2 pencil to class. Frobie Ernest and Jose Bernardo Patino are registered Environmental Health Specialists (REHS) with the San Mateo County Environmental Health Division. They have been Community Education presenters for several years.
