Starting a Successful Small Consulting Business
Whether it's your first business startup, a second career, or a part-time business during your retirement years this class will help you learn how to effectively establish your own successful consulting business. You will learn how to research and comply with state, county and city laws that govern setting up a local business; what professional business support you'll need and where to find it; how to determine competitive pricing for your services; what paperwork may need to be completed per project; how to gauge hours and materials in order to keep you successful; how to find and consult with clients; and many other aspects of running your consulting business in success mode. (Note: you should come to class with a good sense of the kind of consulting business you want to establish.)
