Do you have a piece of furniture in your home that you would love to redesign or one that you picked up at a garage sale that needs to be repurposed? In this 5 hour workshop, the instructor will walk you through how to sand, paint, stain, use special techniques, decorate with stencils, make repairs, and enhance the overall look of your furniture. You will be amazed at the transformation that takes place in just 5 hours. All you need to do is bring in a piece of furniture (something you can carry yourself) such as a nightstand, end table, small coffee table, mirror, or chair and the instructor will provide all of the high end supplies. The class size has been limited to provide one-on-one attention to each student. The instructor will cover several different techniques to provide you with a wide variety of choices (Shabby Chic, Modern Restoration Hardware, antique staining, embellishments, Baroque Pasting, and much more). You will be proud to show off your work and make it the center piece of your home. The instructor will not only cover helpful techniques but she will also offer tips on the best products and show samples of her work. What you learn in this workshop will help you do future projects on your own. Mychelle Fitzgerald has been teaching since 2006 and owns her own Repurposing Furniture business where she has worked on 1000’s of pieces for resale.
