CourseGraphic Do you know why Queen Bernice of Egypt has her
hair in the sky? What does a celestial crow have in
common with Apollo, a cup of water, and a snake?
Professor Darryl Stanford, an astrophysicist at
CSM, will demystify and finally make sense of
those disconnected dots in the sky. Learn to
use a planisphere* to identify and locate these
constellations on our rooftop observatory. Please
bring a small flashlight.


*Please obtain planisphere from CSM bookstore before
the first class
