KidLit Bootcamp:   Everything You Need to Know to Write for Children and Young Adults

Understand the children’s literature landscape, from developing a writing practice to the nuts and bolts of publishing. Understand the foundations of good storytelling and gather tools to improve your craft. This interactive workshop provides resources for every step of your writing journey, including goal-setting, reading like a writer, and finding a supportive writing community on your way to publication. Come discover the vibrant world of KidLit and the rewards of writing for children.  Instructor Danielle Sunshine has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from UC Berkeley and an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Instructor Anne-Marie Strohman has a PhD in English Literature from Amherst College.     

Materials fee:  $25 to instructor first day of class
